Meta Data is used by search engines to help find and rank your webpages and website.
  1. Meta Title: This is a descriptive subject of a webpage. Meta Titles also appear in a web browser’s title bar and ideally should be less than 70 characters including spaces in length.
  2. Meta Description: Should briefly describe the webpage. Optimal length for a Meta Description should be approximately 70- 150 characters including spaces (The number of characters remaining is shown to the right of Meta Description). Developers can make this field required or display an alert warning to help editor remember is should not be left empty.
  3. Click the tick icon in the top right of the workspace, to save.
NOTE: Meta Keywords is not a feature in the NgageCms system. Keywords are now a redundant feature with all major search engines and cause unnecessary code bloat.
